A prominent aspect of my current role is Communications, particularly internally as we collaborate with stakeholders across the company to align voice, message, and values.

As Communications Administrator, for projects such as the internal newsletter it is my responsiblity (and delight) to compile the messages and voices spanning Dams Furniture, refine them into clear, concise, compelling copy, and deliver them to the next stage in the project lifecycle.

One of the aspects of this role I have found most fulfilling and interesting is the writing of articles reflecting on workplace trends and their relevance to Dams and Social Spaces. In order to position Dams as an expert in their field, these articles must be well-researched and relevant, yet unique enough to not regurgitate the articles and insights of competitors.

OFFERING COMFURT

While any good design or illustration has a message to communicate, the 1000 words said by a picture is not where the conversation ends. Having a sensitive, empathetic, and relatable dialogue with clients is crucial for a smooth, positive relationship.

As part of my freelance role in the past, I helped an acquaintance and client to memoralise her beloved cat in the form of tattoo and apparel designs.
